Parties
A polite notice before booking:
1- We have a strict height and weight limit of 7.5 stone and 5ft, if your child is above this they will not be able to ride, we also will need to measure or weigh if we believe that your child is above this. This can put us, children and parents in an uncomfortable position, so please bare this in mind before booking. This is due to limitations of small Shetland pony weight bearing capabilities. We can recommend riding centres that use larger ponies for taller or older children.
2- By booking and taking part in an experience at our farm, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks that come with being around animals, particularly horses and ponies.
While our ponies are small, gentle, and well-trained, they are living animals and can occasionally become startled — especially if instructions are not followed. Please remember that ponies are not machines; like all animals, they have good days and bad days.
Although incidents are extremely rare, kicks or bites are possible. Our team will always prioritise safety and provide clear guidance to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Pony Parties at our Farm
Our Pony Parties are the perfect way to celebrate your child’s special day in a truly magical countryside setting. Designed for children aged 2 to 10 years (height and weight restrictions apply — please see our FAQs), our parties offer a hands-on, memorable experience with our friendly ponies and other much-loved animals.
Each two-hour party includes:
🐴 A woodland ride through our enchanting meadows and forest trails
🪶 Grooming time with our gentle ponies
✨ Temporary tattoos and fun field games led by our friendly staff
🎉 Exclusive use of our beautifully decorated party room for the final part of your celebration
You’ll spend around 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes enjoying the ponies, guinea pigs, tattoos, and games, followed by time in the party room. We provide a CD player for music, and you’re welcome to bring your own picnic and birthday cake to make the day extra special.
Please note: from 2026 onwards, we will no longer be providing lunch options as part of the party package.
Our Pony Parties combine outdoor adventure, gentle animal interaction, and a warm, welcoming space for families to celebrate together — all while supporting our rescued animals who call the farm home.
Costs
£350 for up to 10 children
£30 for every additional child up to 14 children
There is a £100 deposit on booking with the balance due full two weeks before the party by cash or bank transfer.
Our Party time slots are
10.00am to 12.00am
11.00am to 1pm
12.30pm to 2.30pm
2pm to 4.00pm
3pm to 5pm
Please note that parties do not mix with other parties there are separate areas for each part of the party
