Our Ponies for Riding

Edward, Jacob, Toffee, Harley, Skippy, Cookie and Rose came all the way from Wales as one big happy herd in 2020. They are the best employees you could ever ask for, they love cuddles, carrots and each other. They all have their own personalities, especially little Toffee who can be very stubborn as she’s just a teenager! When they aren’t being ridden on the weekends, they enjoy their 10 acres of field, a cosy stable, and lots of fussing. They see the farrier each month, and are constantly monitored by the owners who adore them all.

Tiny Tina

Tina is an extremely little Shetland pony, who is too little to be ridden. Anna (owner) found her tied up and alone on her dog walk in February 2025. Tina was cold, alone and completely matted and covered in fleas. She managed to track down the owner and raise the money to buy her off him, she now lives her best life at the farm, she has been officially accepted by the others as part of the herd and is often spotted with Toffee, grooming each other which tells us they are best friends.

You can find a lot of information about Tina’s rescue on our Instagram page

The Donkeys

The farm has rescued about 15 donkeys since the owners bought the land in 2012. Now we have our four resident donkeys; Daisy, Violet, Applejack and Betty. They can be quite characters. They came directly from neglect. They love carrots and apples and attention. They can nibble your fingers so please be careful when feeding! They don’t mean it. Daisy, is about 30 years old, she’s much slower than the others, but they all seem to look after her, they let her eat first and never try to steal her food!

Ringo & the Goats

Ringo is a miniature bull who was rescued from the meat industry when he was a calf. The owners rescued him when we was so young that he is essentially a big dog. He LOVES chin scratches and likes to moo very loudly when he is in the mood for a cuddle. His best friends are the goats, Feta and Blue, who are mother and son, who were also rescued from the cruel goat milk industry. They love to slip through the fences and run around with all the animals.

The Ginuea Pigs

We have 6 little piggies at the moment. All of them came from the RSPCA at the start of this year. They came from extreme neglect and were not good with people when they first arrived. But, with lots of attention and love, the piggies now love to be cuddled! Your experience at the farm will always involve holding or stroking some of our pigs. In the week, they live in their large outdoor enclosure at the owners house where they enjoy their toys and lots of fresh veg.
